We will need to step it up a notch from Saturday's poor display at home to Stenny though as we only managed a 1-1 draw against our title rivals. Again Mark Ferry scored a wonder goal but Ian Diack cashed in some schoolboy-ish defending from Queen's to level.
Brechin also followed up the Cup tie with a league draw last weekend, as they earned a point away at Recreation Park, in a 2-2 draw with Alloa Athletic. Paddy Connolly whose good forward play struck Queen's hard in the first game bagged one of the goals and the veteran will have to be kept in check once again by the defensive partnership of Stephen Reilly and Richard Sinclair.
Queen's are still without Shaun Molloy and Frankie Carroll while on form Ferry is doubtful along with Tony Quinn. Expect Mark Cairns to retain his place in goals with Paton, Reilly, Sinclair and Dunlop in defence. Presuming Quinno and Fez are unfit expect Trouten, Canning, Ronald & Kettlewell to make up the midfield while Dunn and Weatherston could feature up front.
C'Mon the Queen's!
