Ferry Sails To Rovers

Ferry signed from St Johnstone in September 2004, and was Billy Stark's first signing as Queen's Park boss. He made his debut from the bench against East Stirling that month, as Queen's hammered Shire 5-1 at Firs Park. As Brian Blair was released that month, Ferry stepped into the breach proving to be a shrewd addition to the squad.

He scored his first goal in the jersey against Stenhousemuir in November, scoring the first goal as Queen's made a famous comeback. He followed it up with a quickfire double the following week, as Queen's beat Montrose 4-2 at Links Park. He was a fixture in the side missing only one game in seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07, as he helped Queen's gain promotion to Division Two with 12 goals from midfield.

Last season Fez was at his goalscoring best, scoring a Zidane like volley at Airdrie United, and netting 11 more goals, the latest in a 1-0 win over his new employers Raith, at Stark's Park in March.

Good luck to Fez.
