Frankie left Queen's at the end of the 2004/05 season, after scoring 17 goals at Queen's Park, to Stenhousemuir, he only made twelve appearances for the Ochilview side scoring two goals before being released.
Carroll has already scored 30 goals in his two previous stints in Mount Florida and will no doubt be hoping he can add a few more to that tally next season.
