Queen's Park look likely to lose skipper Stuart Kettlewell to full time football sometime this week. Kettlewell broke into the Queen's first team in season 2002/03 as a fresh faced 17 year old and since has became a key player in the Queen's starting eleven. In Season 2006/07, Kettlewell was elected Club Captain and has been an inspirational skipper over the past two seasons, leading Queen's to playoff success and survival in Division Two in his second season as skipper.
He has been linked to John Brown's Clyde, Paul Paton's new side Partick Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic but looks likely to join Morton, as a replacement for Chris Millar who has moved to St Johnstone. Also on his way out, is Alan Trouten. Trouten, who scored 14 times last season, seems to have turned down to a move to Partick Thistle and now looks likely to sign for John McGlynn's Raith Rovers.
Albion Rovers have also been linked to Queen's pair Richard Sinclair and Tony Quinn, but these are moves which look unlikely to happen.
