Queen's Bring In New Keeper

The 19 year old left the Dens Park side despite being first team keeper for a large part of last season and signed up at Queen's yesterday, no doubt hoping to challenge veteran Mark Cairns for the number one jersey at Hampden.

Murray produced a number of sparkling displays for the Dark Blues last season and the youngster made 20 appearances in all, and at one point kept a remarkable seven clean sheets on the trot. The six foot tall goalkeeper will be seen by many as the natrual replacement for the departed David Crawford.

Murray will likely sit out of the match against Raith Rovers at Hampden Park later today, but expect him to challenge Big Cairnsy all the way for the number one spot.
