Queen's playmaker Paul Harvey is set to retire from football, before the beginning of next season.
Harvey, 38, has spent three seasons at Hampden but didn't reach the peak of his Queen's career until Billy Stark came to The Spiders, he was wasted under Kenny Brannigan's long ball game but in season 2004/05 he began to shine for Queen's.
His passing a joy to behold that season was summed up in December at Stranraer in the Scottish Cup 2nd Round. The veteran controlled the game, running the midfield and setting everything up that day, we dominated the game, lost 1-0 but the small midfielder won the sponsors man of the match award, despite being on the losing side.
The last season has been dogged by knee injuries for Harve, the reason for him contemplating his end to a football career that has seen him play for Manchester United, Clydebank, Airdrieonians, Motherwell, Raith Rovers and Airdrie United and he will be sorely missed in the Queen's midfield if he decides to pack in football this summer.
