Queen's Park have added three players to the squad, a day before the league kicks off against Arbroath at Hampden. Strikers Paul Ronald and Robert Dunn and midfielder Michael Keenan have all been signed up today.
Veteran striker Ronald, 35, has played in six pre-season games for Queen's and will make the Spiders his eighth senior Scottish club. Ronald has previously enjoyed spells at East Stirlingshire, East Fife, Berwick Rangers, Stranraer, Airdrieonians, Airdrie United and Dumbarton, where he was captain. The 6'2 striker should add a bit of bulk to an otherwise lightweight Spiders forwardline.
Robert Dunn, 27, also played in the same Dumbarton team as Ronald before he was transferred to Stirling Albion in a swap deal for former Queen's striker James Allan. Dunn went on to score 8 times in 21 starts for the Binos and has also played for Partick Thistle, Airdrieonians and St Mirren.
Keenan has been a trialist since early 2006 after impressing for a Scottish Amateur Select and has played in six of Spiders warm up games. He is a defensive midfield player who stands at over 6 feet.
