New boss Speirs has convinced twelve players to sign on for Queen's ahead of next season. Goalkeepers Zander Cowie and Scott Murray will be here next year, while defenders Richard Sinclair, Stephen Reilly, Damiano Agostini, Martin Ure, Jamie Brough and Shaun Molloy have also re-signed. Only one midfield player, Tony Quinn has been re-signed while forwards Stuart McGrady and Robert Dunn will be back for another year.
Paul Paton, Mark Ferry, Mick Dunlop and Stephen Canning are definately gone, while John Neill, Alan Trouten, Stuart Kettlewell and Paul Cairney have yet to commit their future to anyone.
Veteran Paul Ronald has said he will give pre-season training a bash to asess his fitness before commiting for another year. Also leaving are the retiring Mark Cairns and youngster Richard Bowers, who has been released.
Promoted from the under 19s are Alan Harty, David Waters and Ray Montgomerie.
