A dull match at Ochilview rarely got the crowd going and a draw against our nearest neighbours in the leauge was a fair but dissapointing draw.
Queen's squad was without some key figures , Damiano Agostini , Shaun Molloy & Stevie Reilly were all missing on top of Paul Harvey & Steve McGovern. It gave Brian Blair a start on the park and young Alexander Cowie as the sub goalie.
The 1st half rarely produced a chance and John Paul McBride came close with a few free kicks in the first half hour. QP failed to create many but Ally Graham was proving a handful up front , his deflected header narrowly beat the crossbar.
But the best chance fell to Frankie Carroll. Ally Graham nodded down to the dimunitive striker who blazed over with the help of Keith Knox from three yards.
The second half only got worse the same as the weather and Carroll will regret sending a free-kick to the corner flag.
Again we had another chance. Kettlewell , Graham & Blair amazingly did not score after an amazing goalmouth scramble where Knox & Fallon seemed to invite the three to put the ball in the net.
The game kind of flickered out with Knox , McBride , McGrillen & Collins all forcing close range saves from DC
