Eppendorf took the lead after only 6 minutes when a mix up between defensive partners Damiano Agostini and Shaun Molloy allowed their number nine to volley past Alexander Cowie from twelve yards. A freak goal then extended Eppendorf's lead moments later.
From ten yards into his own half the Eppendorf number six hammered a high ball forward and it dipped over Cowie and into the net. Spiders started to find their feet however and we were level when youngster Chris Colquhoun pounced on a short passback and rolled the ball past the goalkeeper, and just before half time, Queen's equalised Steven Canning hammering a shot past the Eppendorf keeper and into the top corner of the net.
The impressive Paul Paton made it three with another cracker just after half time and minutes later Tony Quinn nodded in off the post from three yards to put the tie to bed. Paul Cairney then broke clear of the defence after a solo run to make it 5-2 ahead of a close range finish by Robert Dunn which finished off the German opposition.
